    Default Tyres on JKU

Hi all wondering if someone has done this and would love to hear their experience and feedback.

I have a JKU with standard 18in alloy rims and a 2in Lift... looking at getting BF Goodrich KO2 tyres..

What max tyre size have people gone up to with the standard rims without having to do other car mods?

Any tyre shop recommendation for a "hot deal" in tyres?

    Thanks
    Appreciate any feedback or suggestion.

    Hey Hitesh,

With a 2” lift and OEM wheels, 33” will be about the max you can safely fit... not sure what that works out to on an 18” wheel though.

I purchased my tires through Brian’s Tyre Service in Hornsby and was happy with his price and service.

Hi Hitesh. Just recently researched this. You’ll pay significantly more for 18” rubber vs 17 or 16. So consider new wheels. I went with inexpensive steel. Also it’s more the width on those 18” stock wheels since your backspace is 6.25”. That’s putting the rubber way inside already. Again, another good reason to consider new wheels with 4.5” backspace.

I did a spreadsheet on everything that would fit. I can send if u like.

Got mine at St George. Great deal.

Btw, I have 5 newish wheels and tires for sale — all 18”. :-)
