Default 2door jk wrangler fridge and draw setups?

    Hey Gents.

New to the forums and would appreciate any help or recommendations.

Looking to put some draws in my 2door jk 14 and wondering if anyone has any in their own or can reccomend a brand etc. looking at msa draws and fridge drop downs as seem to be best so far but pricey..

Also the ye old debate of fridges.. You hear engels last for years so leaning towards one of them but waeco, snowmaster and arb also look ok. so if any recommendations or advice be awsome. or if anyone running a full draw fridge set up and has photos even better.

subsequently I would need to run a second battery so if anyone has any help with that too

cheers in advance for any help

    Nick

    Hi Nick,

I'm responding with Sean's user account.

Sean made our fridge drawer system himself and has customised it to suit our needs for day trips, camping and touring.

Pull out sliders for our Waeco CFX 40L fridge. Two compartment drawers for recovery gears, thermal flask/coffee/tea.

Behind the front seats, there are another two compartments to hold a 130AH deep cycle auxiliary battery (powerful to jump start the Jeep), air compressor, repair tools, spares, oils and extra beers.

There are also charging outlets for USB, 12V etc and tie down points on top of the unit.

Our Conqueror camper trailer already comes with 4 strong front runner boxes, so we use them when we are touring without the trailer.

    Hope this helps.

Pictures doesn’t do this incredible unit justice. Like Dr Who’s tardis, small on the outside but big on the inside.

Perhaps join us on a day trip or events so you can see it and ask Sean questions in person.

PS: a few other members get custom made unit from Drifta but commented that the units are heavy.

    Regards,
    Daphne

    Hey Nick,

    Sean's email is president@sydneyjeepclub.com.

He might not get back to you as promptly as he would like to. We are heading off to the Victoria High Country in a couple of weeks so he's busy getting the Jeep ready. There's always something to work on the Jeep.

Might be best to post your questions here on the forum as i'm sure others will have the same questions. This way, they can response with their great ideas or suggestions.
