Default ZIG ZAG - NEWNES - C++ - No Snow This Time

    One spot available.

    Hello My Jeeping Friends!

After the success of the first trip on these tracks in the snow, I want to run it again giving those that were not able to come last time the chance to join in on the fun, but this time in the sun!

Previous drivers are of course also welcome to return again as I know you all enjoyed these trails.

    Where: Zig Zag - Newnes

Starting at the Zig Zag Railway station we will tackle Motorcross Hill, then Prado Run. This will be followed by a trail approaching Lost City from the south. We will have a play along some of the wombat holes before heading to a northern approach to Lost City via nice bush trail and Powerlines 2. There are a number of C++ obstacles along these tracks.

Expect to finish mid to late afternoon.

    When: Sunday 10 November 2019

    Meet: Zig Zag Railway Station.

Time: 8:30am for 9:00am - There is no fuel nearby, so ensure you fuel up at either Mt Victoria or Lithgow before you arrive. 9:00am departure.

Grade: C++. This trip is suited for experienced drivers.

Requirements: Stock Wranglers OK and Grand Cherokees with a min 2" lift. WK2 Grands will be at your own risk, driveable but the risk of some damage is higher.

There are sections where the brush is close but nothing like the Watagans.

All Terrain Tyres are a must and larger than stock recommended. BYO first aid, food and water.

Recovery points front and rear are mandatory. If you have recovery gear bring it, otherwise the trip leader will step in if necessary. Expect to use your recovery gear and winches.

UHF Radio to keep in touch with your trail buddies. Channel 15.

This run is limited to: 15 vehicles.

When posting please list your Jeep Model and your real name.

Count me in Ben, loved this trip in the snow [emoji3] If the trip get full I'll be happy to step aside so someone who hasn't done it can go. ED JKU.

Hi. Ben I'm a very beginner. Do you recommend this trip or should I look for a C instead of C++. Thanks in advance . Nolan

    Hi Nolan

Yes a straight C or even a C+ is better suited for a beginner.

That will give you the opportunity to learn some of the skills needed as a driver, and how your Jeep works, before tackling something a bit more technical.

There will be another trip posted for late November or early December soon.

    Cheers
    Ben
