Stockton Beach

Hi all fellow Jeepers

I will be running a trip to Stockton beach to finish off the year


Where: Stockton Beach - Williamtown

This trip is for everyone who would like to have a relaxing day out on the beach, anyone is welcome, beginners included, there is nothing hard about this trip so any Jeep will be fine, but you will be required to deflate and inflate tyres, so bring a compressor, we will meet at Metro Service Station where you can get fuel and all your permits required to enter the beach, we will head out along the beach and hopefully find some dunes to play in, I also plan to display how to execute recoveries and how you can get yourself out of a bog, something I think everyone should know.
Bring something to eat and a chair as we will try to find a nice spot on the beach to have some lunch

Expect to finish mid to late afternoon.

Meet: Metro Service Station Williamtown

1 Lavis Ln, Williamtown NSW 2318


Time: 9:00am for 9:30am departure. There is fuel available at the meeting location, this is also where you can get the required permit to drive the beach and dunes. Permits are $33 for a weekend pass. There is also McDonald’s across the road if anyone is hungry but we will be leaving at 9:30, no later


Grade: C. This trip is suited for everyone


Requirements: Any Jeep will be ok as long as it has low range. Also bring an air compressor, the line at the service station can be quite long

BYO first aid, food and water.

Recovery points front and rear are preferred but are not mandatory. Standard tow hitches will suffice. If you have recovery gear bring it, otherwise the trip leader will step in if necessary. Expect to use your recovery gear as the sand can be quite soft in places

UHF Radio to keep in touch with your trail buddies. Channel 15.


This run is limited to: 15 vehicles.
