    Default Respect the bush campaign

    Hi Jeepers

Saw this tonight on 4wd 24/7

Thought is something we should all get amongst.

The last trip to the Watto's there was heaps of rubbish and I for one walked past a lot.

Not too hard to bring a bag back on each trip.

How about a few clubs trips that are about cleaning up the bush rather tthan 4wd'ing? Keep it easy grades so everyone can join in. Drifta might be happy to send the club a batch of bags. Maybe something that can be discussed at the next club meeting.

    Club has been very quiet.

I hope we plan more off-roading in September ( if it’s only safe ).

I have always been a bushwalker. Way back in the 80's we agreed to carry plastic bags to collect rubbish. Typically it was bottle tops and burnt tin cans.

The bags are free from Drifta or Snatch clothing websites.

I for one will be getting one and using it on all future trips.

Whilst it is a good idea to have dedicated trips for this, I think we can all do this on EVERY trip to the bush.
