I'm also looking at getting a set of Cooper STT's for the Wrangler.
At $300+ each I'm expecting a lot of BANG, for a lot of BUCKS 8O

 Raises an interesting thought for me.
Is there a list of "suppliers" that look after club members, and that club members want to look after.
It would be nice to have some idea where to spend my hard earned cash while still being confident of getting genuine advice.

It's very hard for the club to list preferred suppliers as there have been several competing suppliers who were or are members of the club. In saying that though checkout the club sponsors and talk to other club members and you cant really go wrong

    Default st's or stt's

tried them both... the st's where chipped after camp coffs and other rocky stuff.. just did 20.000km on stt's (which i "got" for warranty from cooper) and they show some cracks after 3 months.. (if anybody is interested in 6 31"stt's)

however driving in rain and on road, they are OK.

my next tyre will definitely be a procomp, micky's or the maxxis bighorn..
