New ball joints hopefully gonna fix the wobbles
So the jeep has been having some low speed wobbles / shimmy in the front when hitting some uneven surfaces. Fitted new rims, put the old ones back on, had balancing done, twice. None of this helped.
Friendly jeep workshop diagnosed shot ball joints, so replacing them with these bad boys....

Seriously hope this fixes it. Suppose did well with the stock ones, I hear they can go pretty early on.

Rich are they "metal on metal"? Just a note that once ours were installed the jeep felt terrible. They need a break in period and it can take a couple of thousand ks. When that was done they now are terrific.

Hi Dru,
Not sure about metal on metal, but the new ball joints fixed the wobbles straight away, riding like a dream now (as dreamy as any JK can be!). Made the trip to Mt Bonfire last weekend even more enjoyable.

Mate just keep an eye on those - seen a few of that brand wear premature.
