    Default Hello

    Hi All,

Just wanted to post up a quick message to say hi. Been lurking around the forum for a couple of years now and finally got around to paying my fees and becoming a member. Looking forward to getting out on more of the trips that I keep reading about. I did go out on a trip to Zig Zag about 18 months ago, expertly guided through the mud by Steve T, which was great fun but haven't been off road that much since....something I'm keen to change .

I've got an '09 JKU CRD and just recently got a lift installed and fitted some 285/70/17's so it might be able to keep it's belly off the ground a little more now.

Just got to sort the brake lines out now as I've just realised that the back ones are too short with the lift in but once that's sorted then I want to get out and put the new suspension through it's paces.

Hope to meet more of you soon.

    Paul

Hey Paul pretty sure we've exchanged words a few times over on earth.
Where's that last pic from? Looks like a beautiful area.
Catch you on the tracks mate.

    Cheers
    Matt

    Hi Wolfe,
I do intend to make it to some of the meetings but not sure how many as Wednesday's not a good night for me. Will have to make the effort and get over there to meet everyone at some point though.

    Hi Matt,
Yes, I think we have. I get on earth a little and AJOR as well (spend far too much time driving a computer and not enough time driving the JK).
All 3 shots are from the Vic High Country. Was down there for the first time in Feb. Some fantastic scenery and the tracks aren't too bad either! The first is outside Bluff Hut, the second is at Mansfield Holiday Park which is a great campsite with loads of space (and fairly cheap to) and the last is crossing the river over to the Upper Jamieson Hut.

    Cheers,

    Paul
