Maaaaaaaate
just needed a driving experience in order to be able to compare them - funny story;
back when I had a 2000disco (Landrover) I was told by a mate that the USA dropped a heap of them (Hummers) into the sand during the gulf war and due to their poor ability to navigate soft sand and fattabulous weight they spent more time digging them out than driving them, here's the funny part - the UK guys had to repeatedly pull the Hummers out of the soft sand during the gulf war and so the Landies were nicknamed "Hummer recovery vehicles" which I thought was pretty funny - any way I bought a spare tyre cover for my Disco with "Hummer recovery unit on it" - didn't think too much about it untill i hired a Hummer in Vegas and took it out to the Grand canyon - went wheelin and got it stuck - it took me 2 hrs in 40 degree heat to dig it out - thats where I learnt how heavy they are!!!!!!
I had a lovely lady approach me in a tyre store and ask me about the spare tyre cover - so i told her the story - she didnt seem to get the humour of !!!! - later in the conversation she told me she was the importer of Hummer - oops lol
I like to hire a different vehicle everytime i go away on assignment! - and my Fav is still my Jeep!
cheers Hunty
Luv My Jeep!
